Recent Gas and Electricity Price Rises (main announcements)
05/01/08 Npower increased gas prices by 17.2%, while its electricity price rose by up to 12.7%.
18/01/08 British Gas increased gas and electricity prices by 15%.
18/01/08 EDF put up electricity tariffs by 7.9% and gas prices by 12.9%.
02/02/08 Scottish Power increased gas bills by 15% and electric tariffs by 14%.
08/02/08 E.On increased gas bills by 15% and electricity bills by 9.7.
20/03/08 Scottish & Southern Energy have announced that from 1st April gas bills will on average increase by 15.8% and electricity bills by 14.2%.
